Parent App: Tracking my child's improvements
The Parent app is a valuable tool for staying connected with your child's educational journey. By monitoring their activity and performance in Geniebook, you can witness the progress they're making and gain insights into their learning process. It allows you to celebrate their achievements and identify areas where they might need extra support, ensuring a well-rounded and effective learning experience.
How do I monitor my child’s activity?
Login to the Geniebook Parent App to view your child’s activity under the Attempts tab. There, you will be able to monitor the number of questions your child has done a week, and their score.
How do I monitor my child’s topical performance?
Under the Progress tab, you can also track your child’s proficiency, broken down by topics areas. Use the weakest/strongest tabs on top to filter topics that your child is strong and weak in. Proficiency in Geniebook is measured by Skill levels - the system assigns a score from 1 to 10 to capture your child's performance, with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest. The higher your child's skill levels, the more proficient they are in that specific subject/topic.
Where can I get more information on my child’s strong/weak concepts?
To understand your child’s strong/weak subtopic areas, simply click on each topic and get more insights on their last practised date, and the breakdown of marks for each concept area.
