The leaderboard is designed to foster a sense of healthy competition among students as they learn with Geniebook. By attending classes and answering questions correctly in worksheets and quizzes, students can accumulate Bubbles to climb up the leaderboard.
Where can I find the leaderboard?
Students can find the leaderboard by tapping on their Profile Picture, under Achievements.
How often does the leaderboard reset?
The leaderboard resets once a month, on the first day of each month. This monthly reset gives all students an opportunity to start anew and climb up the leaderboard.
How are students grouped on the leaderboard?
At the beginning of each monthly season, student subscribers are grouped with peers in the same academic level, and sorted into different leagues based on their past month’s Bubble accumulation.
How are students ranked on the leaderboard?
The rank on the leaderboard is based on the number of Bubbles each student earns from GenieSmart worksheets and live GenieClasses during the month. Students can accumulate Bubbles and move up the leaderboard by getting answers correct in the worksheets, and participating and getting answers correct in the live lessons.
Note: Student’s rank is based on bubble earnings across all subjects
What are the different leagues on the leaderboard?
Students can look forward to rising up the leagues as they earn more Bubbles in Geniebook.
Bronze league
Silver league (40 Bubbles/mth)
Gold league (200 Bubbles/mth)
Platinum league (500 Bubbles/mth)
Diamond league (1,000 Bubbles/mth)
Master league (2,500 Bubbles/mth)
Can students participate in the leaderboard if they are on a trial account or if their subscription has expired?
Without an active subscription, students would not be able to participate in the monthly leaderboard. They may still continue to view the leaderboard that will show other students’ rankings.
Are there any rewards for the top performers on the leaderboard?
At the end of each leaderboard season, the top 3 students are rewarded with a certain amount of Bubbles:
1st prize: 300 Bubbles
2nd prize: 200 Bubbles
3rd prize: 100 Bubbles
How are users notified when a leaderboard season ends?
A pop-up alert will be displayed to all subscribers when a season ends. It will also show the students’ rank they have achieved for that season.
